An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Finance Manager to join a leading financial services business on a temporary basis, with potential to extend. This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing the financial control and reporting team, overseeing the full financial reporting function. You’ll take ownership of the audit and EOFY process, prepare technical accounting papers, and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in line with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a small finance team, providing direction and support Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Own the year-end close process and lead external audits Draft technical accounting papers and ensure compliance with accounting standards Strengthen internal controls and reporting processes About You: CA/CPA qualified with strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise Proven team leadership and people management experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Background in financial services or a Big 4/mid-tier chartered firm is highly regarded If this sounds like the role for you, click APPLY NOW or email madi.towner@perigongroup.com.au
