About the Manager Position
As a Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping business strategy and developing professionals while mentoring and guiding junior colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of clients across various industries, delivering high-quality business advisory and tax services.
* Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and superannuation funds.
* Advise clients on business operations, complex tax matters, regulatory requirements, restructures, estate planning, and succession planning.
* Provide value-added services, including financial modelling, asset sales and acquisitions, and strategic planning.
* Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and best practice.
Leadership & Team Development:
* Supervise, mentor, and support junior accountants, fostering their professional growth.
* Manage workflow and team performance, ensuring efficiency and client satisfaction.
* Collaborate with Directors and Partners to enhance client service delivery and business development initiatives.
* Promote a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the team.
Your Skills and Experience:
* CA/CPA qualified with a degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Law.
* 8+ years' experience in Business Services, with proven leadership or mentoring experience.
* Strong technical expertise in tax and compliance, coupled with business advisory experience.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* A proactive, goal-oriented approach with excellent communication and relationship management skills.
* Proficiency in accounting software, including Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks.
