About The Role
We are seeking a highly capable Executive Assistant to provide high-level, confidential and professional administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Red Lily Health Board (RLHB) Directors.
This is a trusted and pivotal role that requires strong organisational skills who is able to work independently and within a team. They are able to demonstrate a strong cultural understanding and has an ability to work confidently and respectfully with senior leaders, Board members, community representatives and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-level executive and secretariat support to the CEO, including travel logistics, meeting coordination and management of correspondence
* Provide confidential secretariat and logistical support to the RLHB Board Directors and Alternates including travel arrangements for meetings and official duties
* Prepare Board and AGM agendas, minutes, correspondence and briefing papers
* Prepare high quality documents, reports and briefings as required
* Support the CEO and Board in achieving outcomes aligned with the Red Lily Health Strategic Plan
* Assist with coordination of key functions, events and stakeholder engagements
* Play a key role to build and maintain strong, respectful relationships with West Arnhem communities and relevant stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with organisational policies, confidentiality and records management requirements
* Undertake other duties consistent with skills and experience as directed
Selection Criteria
Essential
* Demonstrated experience in office management and/or project management roles
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability exercise discretion and sensitivity
* Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, cross-cultural and geographically diverse environment
* High-level secretariat and time management skills
* Ability to work with Microsoft Office suite and other electronic systems
* Current NT Driver's Licence (or ability to obtain)
* Willingness to travel by air and road to remote communities
* Satisfactory National Police Check or ability to obtain
* Current Working with Children's Clearance (OCHRE Card) or ability to obtain
Desirable
* Tertiary qualification/s in Business Administration or similar
* Experience in senior administration or health service administration
