The Role
* Prepare ingredients, cook, and present food in accordance with menus and restaurant standards.
* Responsible for restaurant and food production across all meal periods, functions, and events.
* Maintain a strong understanding of produce, stock control, and kitchen equipment.
* Assist with the preparation of menus, recipes, and new initiatives.
* Portion and plate meals attractively with relevant sauces, garnishes, and accompaniments.
* Add appropriate seasoning and flavors during the cooking process.
* Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and surfaces in accordance with health and safety and health department regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of food ordering and inventory management.
* Ensure the kitchen is always kept clean and tidy.

Requirements
* AQF Certificate III or equivalent qualification.
* A minimum 3 years full-time work experience as a chef or cook.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
* Ability to work under pressure without compromising food quality or presentation.
* Availability to work any day over a 7-day roster period.
