A new opportunity exists for a dedicated Purchase Order Coordinator to become an integral part of their team at the Port of Brisbane site.
Your new role
Reporting to the General Manager as the purchase order coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless procurement operations, supplier performance, and delivery accuracy. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Collaborate with the warehouse and export teams to address purchase order and freight issues
* Coordinate supplier performance metrics and KPI's
* Liaising with suppliers regarding non-confirming deliveries
* Resolving outstanding receipt of purchase order discrepancies
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in freight forwarding and shipping procedures
* Prior experience with export/import operations is highly desirable.
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Ability to liaise confidently with suppliers and internal teams
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
