About the Company
We are a newly established and fast-growing design and construction company specialising in residential projects — including custom homes, duplexes, extensions, and renovations across Sydney.
As the company is expanding we have standard an inhouse cabinet making subdivision to assist with our overall construction project.
Our team includes experienced builders and an in-house designer and engineer, allowing us to deliver integrated design-build solutions with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and detail.
Key Responsibilities
* Interpret architectural drawings, project specifications, and samples to determine accurate measurements, construction methods, and detailed joinery requirements.
* Design cabinets using Mozaik.
* Select appropriate materials — including solid timber, veneers, MDF, plywood, and engineered boards — based on design intent, structural needs, and required finishes.
* Use CNC and CAD-based machinery (setup, programming, and operation) to cut, shape, and process components with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
* Produce and fabricate custom cabinetry for residential and commercial projects, ensuring premium craftsmanship and exceptional finishing standards.
* Carry out on-site installation of cabinetry, furniture, and architectural joinery, ensuring precise fitting, alignment, and professional presentation.
* Design and develop bespoke joinery solutions for specialised or one-off projects requiring detailed craftsmanship, creativity, and technical innovation.
* Assemble cabinetry and furniture components with precision, ensuring high-quality alignment, fittings, and overall structural integrity.
* Apply finishes, coatings, and sealants to enhance durability, protect materials, and achieve specified aesthetic outcomes.
* Install, adjust, and fine-tune hardware such as hinges, handles, runners, and locks to ensure smooth operation and a refined final appearance.
* Support restoration, modification, or reproduction of existing cabinetry when required, maintaining original design character and quality standards.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues, designers, and project managers to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved specifications.
Requirements & Experience
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
* Willingness and ability to complete manual work on site when required.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Able to work both independently and within a team environment.
* Positive attitude, strong initiative, and eagerness to learn and grow within the company.
