In this position, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, monitoring, and maintenance of a site‑specific water treatment plant. Your day will involve attending daily site meetings, completing onsite operational duties, collecting and recording plant performance data, conducting maintenance and repairs, operating machinery, and ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and compliance standards. This is a hands-on role requiring both technical skill and strong situational awareness to support plant reliability and performance.
What you'll need to succeed
Required:
* Ability to work independently with enthusiasm and energy
* Essential Water Treatment qualification
* Strong preference for experience working with membrane systems
* Mandatory White Card
* Familiarity with SAP
* Standard 11 & CBM
Preferred:
* Mechanical or Electrical trade background
* General maintenance experience
* Previous mining industry experience
* 5–10 years’ experience in a similar position
* Manual driver’s licence (preferred for site vehicle)
What you'll get in return
You will secure a full-time position with our client, commencing as soon as possible. This role includes operational responsibilities and plant maintenance within an established SAP framework, with tasks varying day‑to‑day. You’ll work closely with the national operations manager, the broader team, and international colleagues. This DIDO role operates on an 8/6 roster with 12‑hour shifts. While onsite, accommodation, meals, and a vehicle are provided to support your stay. Salary is up to $110,000, depending on experience.
