In this diverse and rewarding role, you'll support the Surf Life Saving Club helping deliver vital volunteer-based water safety and lifesaving services to the Marcoola community. You will work closely with the General Manager, Presidents and Boards to support the Club's strategic vision, while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our administration and shared services.

About Us
Marcoola Surf Life Saving Club is an iconic Sunshine Coast surf club delivering vital volunteer-based lifesaving services to Marcoola and surrounding areas. Our club has been at the heart of the community for over 50 years, providing a welcoming hub for locals, visitors and community groups alike.
About the Role
This is a full‐time position Monday to Friday, with occasional out‐of‐hours meetings/ events. The position offers variety and responsibility across both operational and strategic support functions. Working under the direction of the General Manager, Presidents and Boards, you will:
* Support the delivery of the Surf Life Saving Clubs' Strategic Plans
* Foster a culture of innovation, achievement and excellence
* Promote a one‐club approach across all activities and events
* Seek opportunities for community engagement
* Coordinate the Schools Surf Education Program
* Manage day‐to‐day operations of the Club's Shared Services Unit
Key Responsibilities
* General Administration
o Daily management of correspondence and general enquiries
o Maintenance of internal record‐keeping systems
o Filing and maintenance of club records
o Maintenance of policies, procedures and registers
o Taking minutes at operational and Board meetings
o Collating, producing and distributing reports, including the Annual Report
o Receipting and banking of income
o Processing Surf Club invoices through Xero
o Supporting accurate financial record keeping
* Program & Operational Support
o Administration of the Nipper Program
o Coordinating the Schools Surf Education Program
o Liaising with relevant officers to organise repairs and maintenance of gear and equipment
o Managing club uniform stock control and ordering
* Stakeholder & Community Engagement
o Supporting sponsor engagement and stakeholder relationships
o Promoting professionalism, service, integrity and teamwork across the Club
o Maintaining strong working relationships with members, volunteers, management and community groups
About You
* Highly desirable: Bookkeeping experience, including proficiency in Xero and SurfGuard
* Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
* Ability to multi‐task and prioritise effectively
* Professional and adaptable telephone manner
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain cooperative and harmonious relationships
* A commitment to service, professionalism, integrity and teamwork
* Surf Life Saving experience (preferred)
