Site Manager (Cleaning) - Dubbo Livestock Markets

We are excited to be entering into the new venture of providing cleaning services at the Dubbo Regional Livestock Markets.
The role
Cirka are looking for a hands‑on Site Manager to oversee and coordinate the cleaning operations at the Dubbo Regional Livestock Market to commence in January 2026. This role is critical to maintaining high hygiene standards across the market floors following each market day, ensuring operations run smoothly and safely. This full‑time permanent role will be primarily working Tuesday to Saturday between 6am to 6pm depending on stockyard operations. You will be the sole manager on site, reporting into our Operations Manager based in Sydney, so this role will be well suited to a local with understanding of the Livestock Markets with strong autonomous work ethic.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with Dubbo Livestock Market management and staff to coordinate cleaning schedules and ensure
* Lead, manage and motivate the onsite cleaning service team to ensure cleaning is completed according to agreed scope and without interfering with market operations.
* Perform hands‑on cleaning duties alongside your team, including floor hosing of concrete and rubber hardstand areas.
* Conduct cleaning inspections with client in accordance with agreed inspection plans.
* Ensure safe work practices are followed and that equipment is maintained in a safe operating condition.
* Administrative duties such as staff rostering, timesheet approval, reporting, and purchasing.
To be considered for this role it is essential that you can demonstrate the following:
* Experience of cleaning service operations including operating heavy duty cleaning equipment such as pressure washer and hoses.
* Excellent customer service skills and experienced in working with and resolving issues for employees at all levels within the business.
* Experience managing or supervising a team, including the management and coordination of employees through rostering, delivering training and toolbox sessions, addressing performance and/or employee issues.
* Experience in completing audits, hazard identification, risk assessments and incident investigations.
* Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office suite and experience working with online document management and auditing systems.
