At the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA), we are seeking an IT Contract/Commercial Manager for a 14-month fixed term contract to lead and innovate within our IT function.
Key responsibilities
Manage the Bank's IT vendor portfolio to drive value for money through performance management
Uplift contract management practices across IT and develop and maintain proactive vendor relationships
Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver best practice vendor management
Contribute to the broader leadership team, sharing accountability with other leaders for overall performance of deliverables and outcomes
Skills & Experience
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of IT vendor management practices
Extensive knowledge of Information Technology supplier market
Demonstrated contract management skills, including facilitation of performance management reporting, contract governance and relationship management
Knowledge of state and/or federal government procurement rules, procurement process, tender preparation and evaluation
Familiarity with leveraging panel arrangements including supporting negotiation of contract terms within the constraints of panels
Experience in managing IT vendors at strategic and transactional levels
Knowledge of contract management with the demonstrated ability to establish and improve governance of technology contracts
Excellent relationship-building skills to collaborate across departments and peer organisations
Qualification in Procurement or Contract Management (e.g., Cert IV, Diploma, CIPS, Adv Diploma)
