Pharmacy Aged Care Technician & Accounts Assistant
Amcal Bayswater Drive-In Pharmacy is seeking an enthusiastic, organised, and resilient individual to join our friendly pharmacy team in a specialised aged care role.
This is a unique opportunity to work behind the scenes of aged care pharmacy, supporting nursing homes and prescribers to ensure residents receive their medications accurately and on time.

About the roleLiaising daily with prescribers and nursing home staff to coordinate and manage resident prescriptions
Processing prescriptions and medication orders under the supervision of a pharmacist
Managing changes to medication orders for nursing home residents
Managing and monitoring pharmacy customer accounts in line with pre-defined KPIs
Following up outstanding and unpaid pharmacy accounts in a professional and courteous manner
Handling a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls related to prescriptions and accounts
Responding to account-related enquiries and resolving issues efficiently
About youHighly organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise tasks in a busy environment
Confident and professional on the phone, with the ability to handle challenging conversations when required
Comfortable following up unpaid accounts and working toward targets; a thick skin and calm approach are important
Strong communication skills and a willingness to build relationships with healthcare professionals
Pharmacy experience is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided for the right candidate
A positive, can-do attitude with a genuine willingness to learn
Additional informationThis role may include some weekend shifts as part of our rotating roster
Full-time position available; part-time may be considered for the right applicant
