Synopsis
The Senior Data Governance Business Analyst plays a key role in driving data governance strategy and ensuring compliance with national standards in Western Australia.
To achieve this, they will collaborate with technical teams, business users and external stakeholders to design, validate and report on data systems that align with programme objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with technical teams, business users and external stakeholders to ensure system design, validation logic and reporting capabilities meet programme objectives and strengthen the Department's data infrastructure.
* Work closely with stakeholders to define data needs, develop governance frameworks and migrate legacy systems to cloud infrastructure while maintaining compliance with evolving national standards.
Requirements
* Experience of leading or contributing to data transformation projects.
* Strong background in technical business analysis or information management with a focus on compliance and data quality.
* Well-developed process mapping and documentation skills.
