Maven Partners are working with one of Perth's largest corporate finance teams to recruit an Associate Director for their Deals practice.
The firm is looking for somebody with financial due diligence and wider deals experience, to join the firm and work within the Transaction Services team. The role in question is an important one for the business, as they view the successful candidate as somebody who can progress through to Director quickly, and then Partner.
The company in question have a great reputation in the market and are known as a leader within the mid-market deals space. They boast a positive culture with various events for the team to partake in throughout the year while also having a team that has shown impressive growth over the previous few years.
Responsibilities
Oversee buy-side and sell-side corporate finance engagements with a focus on financial due diligence reports and related services e.g. databooks, forecast models and review of deal contracts
Apply industry expertise and market intelligence to proactively address deal issues
Conduct and supervise financial and commercial analyses to inform key decisions and recommendations
Develop and design financial models
Engage with crucial stakeholders, including clients, target management and investors
Mentor and foster the professional development of junior team members
The Candidate
At least 6 years' experience in deals, with at least 3 of those spent working primarily on FDD engagements
Strong attention to detail and exemplary communication skills (written and verbal)
Showcase outstanding presentation, problem-solving and analytical abilities
Possess commercial acumen with a team-oriented approach
