Description
Quick Overview Of The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Communications & Marketing Coordinator to join our team.
You will be responsible for creating, coordinating and executing communications, marketing and content to promote our brand, products and services.
This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for design, brand and marketing.
This role is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday and is based at our Currumbin Head Office on the Gold Coast.
What will you be doing?
Implement marketing and content campaigns to increase brand awareness.
Assist in preparing branded templates, signage, content and collateral.
Lead and grow our social media presence and manage social media accounts.
Create and schedule engaging content across digital channels.
Shape visual storytelling that reflects our brand.
Drive content creation for blogs and articles that elevate our brand voice.
Create video content to support marketing strategies.
Coordinate the production of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and digital content.
Organise and maintain digital asset libraries.
Conduct research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
Track and analyse data and reports to support decision making and share insights.
Collaborate with the internal teams to deliver content and marketing material.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Maintain and update the company website with relevant content and information.
Create clear and concise internal and external messages for weekly updates, reports, social media, website and event notices.
Monitor, respond and send timely internal communications and updates.
Coordinate internal staff meetings managing logistics, content, invitations, communications and technology.
Support the administrative function of the communications and marketing department including communication updates, events, reports, updating calendars and tracking deadlines.
Skills and Experiences
What are we looking for in the successful candidate?
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
2+ years' experience in the marketing content role, preferably within the construction or manufacturing industry.
Understanding of digital marketing, including social media, email marketing, and SEO.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, marketing and social media software (e.g. Canva, Meta Business Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Campaign Monitor).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to draft engaging content to spark interest and amplify brand presence.
Demonstrated experience in social media creation and execution, including creating engaging content, managing multi-platform campaigns, and leveraging analytics to optimise performance and audience growth.
Understanding of tone, voice, and brand consistency.
Content formatting & presentation.
Skilled in creating visually appealing digital and hard copy communications and content that align with brand standards.
Organisational communication - competence in coordinating and setting up meetings, ensuring accurate information flow across teams.
