Atomic-level simulation of many-particle systems requires sophisticated tools and techniques. The University of Wollongong Node of the ARC Centre of Excellence in Quantum Biotechnology is seeking an Associate Research Fellow to contribute to the development of quantum tools and computational techniques for studying single proteins.
Project Overview
The Molecules research theme at QUBIC aims to address disease mechanisms and develop molecular engineering solutions. As a postdoctoral fellow, you will work closely with QUBIC groups and collaborators to advance multiscale modelling capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and apply computational techniques to biological systems
* Foster collaboration with QUBIC groups and external partners
* Contribute to the advancement of quantum tools and computational methods
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* PhD in Chemistry, Physics or related fields
* Knowledge of physics-based or data-driven models
* Demonstrated experience in high-performance computing and programming
* Publishing and presenting experience in refereed journals and conferences
