Our Client
Our client is a global leader in the manufacture and maintenance of systems for rail and commercial vehicles with local offices and facilities all over Australia. Their facility at Welshpool, WA focuses on the manufacture, overhaul, and repair of various railway equipment.
The Role
This role is primarily responsible for the disassembly, assembly / build, and testing of various critical Rolling Stock (train) componentry and equipment with a mechanical focus.
The role is a Monday to Friday day shift position with opportunities for overtime at the end of the shift or on the weekend based on your preferences.
This job would suit
Hands on trade qualified (fitter, boilermaker, machinist, fabricator, toolmaker etc.) and related personnel with an eye for detail
Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings
Experience in rail and other heavy industries would be beneficial but is not mandatory (Rail, Defence, Aviation, Maritime, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Mining, Utilities etc.)
