About the Role
We are seeking an experienced leader to head our Queensland Scientific & Technical Services team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of assurance and services that support the efficient provision of safe blood and blood products.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team to deliver assurance and services
* Collaborate with stakeholders to provide services to manufacturing teams
* Coordinate team activities to support projects, changes, investigations, and incident management
* Manage risks and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Bachelor of Science in a biomedical discipline (or equivalent qualification)
* Strong leadership and people management capabilities
* Ability to facilitate issue resolution and improvement initiatives across teams
* Knowledge of the Australian regulatory environment applicable to the manufacture of blood and blood components and medical devices/in-vitro diagnostic devices
