What You Bring
Essential:
* Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD.
* Standards: Understanding of AS/NZS Electrical Standards and OH&S regulations.
* Work Rights: Permanent Australian working rights (No WHV or sponsorship).
Highly Regarded:
* AutoCAD Electrical experience.
* Autodesk Inventor (sheet metal) experience.
* Electrical Licence (QLD) or switchboard manufacturing experience.
* Mining Exposure: Familiarity with mining (especially underground) specifications.
About the Role
You will work alongside our existing team to ensure efficient design-to-manufacturing throughput. Key duties include:
* Technical Design: Provide preliminary electrical schematics and general arrangement drawings.
* Production Liaison: Work with manufacturing staff to overcome technical challenges and ensure accurate job handovers.
* QA & Compliance: Adhere to checking sequences and ensure all designs meet AS/NZS standards and customer specifications.
* Project Support: Assist in maintaining drafting databases and ensuring material/labour accuracy for future estimates.
* Document Control: Formalise customer change approvals and work within customer document control systems.
