We are seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Civil and Machinery Operators for upcoming FIFO opportunities for our Weipa and Groote Islandt projects.
If you are a reliable and safety-focused operator with experience in civil or mining environments, we would like to hear from you.
Plant & Machinery Experience (One or More of the Following tickets)
• Excavators
• Loaders
• Dozers
• Graders
• Rollers
• Water Carts
• Moxy/Articulated Dump Trucks
• Skid Steers
Experience in bulk earthworks, road construction, drainage, and civil infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate plant and machinery safely and efficiently
• Complete pre-start checks and basic maintenance
• Follow site safety procedures and project specifications
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and crew members
• Identify hazards and report issues promptly
• Maintain high standards of productivity and workmanship
Essential Requirements
• HR Driver's Licence (minimum)
• Relevant RII Tickets / VOCs for machinery operated
• Construction Induction (White Card)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and ongoing drug & alcohol testing
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
• Ability to work FIFO rosters in remote North Queensland locations
Highly Regarded
• Previous mining or remote site experience
• Confined Spaces (within 3 years)
• Working at Heights (within 3 years)
• First Aid Certificate
• Additional plant competencies
