About the Role
As the Coordinator Training Support, you will oversee and coordinate all aspects of training for job seekers and Job Pathways staff. Your work will help individuals build skills, access high-quality training, increase employability, and transition successfully into meaningful work.
This role brings together strategy, engagement, coordination, and community connection. You will:
* Identify local training needs and align opportunities with labour market demands, job seeker goals, CDP requirements, and community needs.
* Support job seekers throughout their training journey, ensuring strong engagement, progression, and successful completion.
* Partner with training providers, employers, and stakeholders to deliver accessible and relevant programs.
* Manage enrolments, records, incentives, scheduling, logistics, and compliance reporting.
Mandatory Qualifications & Experience:
* Understanding of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector in Western Australia.
* Experience in supporting individuals with skills development and capacity-building initiatives.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to consult and liaise with diverse stakeholders.
* Excellent administrative skills, including documentation and record-keeping.
* Sensitivity to cultural and social factors affecting job seekers, particularly Indigenous and diverse communities.
Desired
* Experience with Remote Employment Services.
* Qualifications or demonstrated experience in career coaching or formal training pathways.
Other Requirements:
* A current C-Class driver's license.
* Ability to travel regularly (by road and air) and stay overnight when required.
* A National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
