About the job
- Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine setting.
- Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
- Adhere to safety protocols and environmental standards.
- Use specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively – with all training and tools provided.
- Build strong, professional relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to help foster a positive, respectful work environment.
Shift Details (subject to change)
- Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
- Shifts starting between 8 : 00 am and 9.00 am
Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation)
Monday - Friday: $32.31 per hour
Saturday: $38.78 per hour
Sunday: $45.24 per hour
Qualifications
- Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
- Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
