Summary: The APP Lead is a licensed provider responsible for the assessment and management of various patient populations, including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, development of care plans, and ongoing evaluation. The APP Lead also performs leadership duties within the team/department by indirectly managing other Advanced Practice Providers and/or Allied Health Professionals.

Essential Functions Provides direct care, counseling, and teaching to a designated patient population in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and/or procedural settings. Nurse Practitioners Leads perform additional duties, including but not limited to: Indirect management of other Advanced Practice Providers and Allied Health Professionals. Support in staffing and scheduling. Participation in daily clinical problem solving, onboarding, and metric tracking. Providing input on appraisals, staff development, discipline, hiring, and termination decisions. Education Master's Degree in Nursing required.

Licenses and Credentials Preferred: Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with State License or Physician Assistant (PA) with State License.
Experience 4-6 years of experience as an APP required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Skilled in taking medical histories, assessing conditions, and interpreting findings. Ability to maintain quality control standards. Calm and effective reaction in emergency situations. Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures. Effective communication skills and ability to establish working relationships with patients, staff, and the public.
