That’s the kind of couple we’re looking for to manage Warner Close, our modern 50-unit supported aged care village in Murray Bridge.
At Warner Close, your day might look like:
* Welcoming a new tenant and helping them settle in, watching their face light up when they see their bright, modern unit for the first time.
* Preparing a home-style roast lunch in the community kitchen, and hearing Dorothy say it reminds her of her mum’s Sunday cooking.
* Fixing a dripping tap in Unit 12, and staying for a yarn with Keith about the cricket while you’re there.
As Village Managers, your job is to be the heart of Warner Close. You’ll live on-site in a comfortable three-bedroom house and oversee everything from meal preparation and administration to maintenance and tenant wellbeing. Every day will be different, but the goal is always the same: making sure our tenants feel safe, cared for, and genuinely at home.
What Makes Our Village Managers Special:
* Experience in a motel, retirement village, or hospitality environment (you know what it takes to make people feel welcome)
* Strong administration skills and confidence managing the day-to-day running of a busy operation
* A talent for cooking home-style meals that bring people together
* Good leadership skills and experience supervising staff
* Practical know-how for building maintenance and grounds upkeep
* A genuine empathy for older people and a deep respect for their independence
Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
* Managing the front office and interviewing prospective tenants
* Preparing high-quality, home-style meals in our fully equipped commercial kitchen
* Answering tenant enquiries and being the friendly face people turn to
* Taking care of daily administration, building maintenance, and grounds work
* Some housekeeping as needed, and being available for after-hours call-outs (because peace of mind doesn’t keep office hours)
