**About BaptistCare Balladong Gardens York**
Balladong Gardens provides person-centred support for all levels of care, including specialised support for those living with dementia.
Offering 26 individual rooms, each one features an en-suite, built-in wardrobes, adjustable bed and emergency-monitoring systems for your safety and security.
**About the role**
As a Carer, you'll get to know your residents by supporting their choices, preferences and needs during your shifts.
**Duties may include**:
- Assistance with a wide range of Person-Centered care in accordance with care plans
- Assistance with medication
- Straightforward wound dressing
- Assistance with activities under supervision
- Working with each resident to continue to do the things they love
**Skills & experience**
- Previous experience as a Carer in aged care setting highly desirable
- Transferrable skills in providing care and compassion to others
- Certificate III in Individual Support highly desired, or willing to work towards obtaining one.
