St Andrew's Toowoomba Hospital (SATH) is seeking a motivated and compassionate Theatre Orderly to join our Perioperative Services team. In this hands-on role, you'll provide vital support to our surgical team, helping ensure smooth theatre operations and a safe, high-quality experience for every patient.

Make a Difference Every Day
As a Theatre Orderly, you will:
* Prepare operating theatres and ensure equipment is ready
* Safely transport patients to and from theatre with care and dignity
* Assist surgical teams during procedures by providing needed resources
* Clean and disinfect surfaces and equipment to maintain high infection control standards
* Support smooth patient and equipment flow in the theatre suite

* A strong attention to detail and adherence to protocols
* Great communication and interpersonal skills
* The physical capability to lift and move equipment and patients
* A calm, adaptable approach in fast-paced situations
* A team-oriented mindset, committed to excellence and safety
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
* Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
* Ability to work rotating morning and afternoon shifts
* Willingness to participate in after-hours on-call roster (post-training)
* Previous healthcare experience in theatre or acute care (desirable)
