A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join us at SURA! This is an exciting role with opportunity for growth, and reports into the Marketing Manager.
The Marketing Assistant plays a pivotal role in the end-to-end coordination of all events attended by the SURA group of Agencies and assisting with broader AUB Group events where required. This includes event preparation, logistics, brand management, social media, communications, and the production of attendee certificates.
Some of the responsibilities of this role would include:
1. End to end delivery of conferences and events attended by the Group.
2. Co-ordination and delivery of sponsorships and associated benefits.
3. Responsible for procuring collateral for multiple entities, as well as inventory control including merchandise stocktakes and maintaining up to date marketing material.
4. Manage online presence by creating social media content and announcements.
5. Work with external agency to develop, implement and monitor SEO strategies.
6. Ability to update website content and assist in the design and development of new websites.
7. General Administration tasks, including but not limited to credit control and admin support.
The successful candidate for this role should ideally have a year or two experience in a similar capacity and is eager to further their career with a fantastic growing organisation!
The following experience would be highly favoured:
1. Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Google Business, InDesign and Outlook.
2. Flexible and willing to work within an ever changing and expanding industry.
3. Previous marketing team assistant experience.
4. Social media experience and a sound understanding of SEO principles and techniques.
5. Hospitality / Events co-ordination experience.
6. Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
