Role Details As a Chemical Recovery Boiler Operator, reporting to the Pulp Manager, you are responsible for the safe, efficient and effective operation and monitoring of plant and equipment within the Pulp Mill including; Digester, Fibreline, Recausticising, Lime kiln, chemical recovery, power /steam system and utilities within a closed-loop, integrated pulp and paper mill. Your strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure will suit this fast paced environment. And your attitude where no job is too small, passion to learn new skills, and ability to lead by example, will fit right into the team. Equipment operated in these areas includes: Chemical Recovery Boiler Power boiler Turbine Steam distribution System Evaporators Recrystallization Plant Water and effluent Treatment Plant What You Will Bring Qualification within any of the following areas as a minimum; Pulp Making, Power Plant Operations, or Electrical Engineering Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Recovery Boiler Operator in a Pulp Mill, Refinery or similar complex high risk plant environment Boiler and Turbine ticket is highly advantageous What you’ll love when you join us Sustainability: Contribute to sustainability initiatives that make a difference.
