Victoria Daly Regional Council runs a range of programs to engage the Indigenous communities.Victoria Daly Regional Council is looking for a full-time Community Development Administration Officer based in Katherine, NT.The Community Development Administration Officer provides a high level of administrative support for the Director of Community Development and the team in a professional and efficient manner.More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Oversee and coordinate email correspondence, calendar scheduling, appointment setting and financial monitoring for the Director of Community Development.Prepare meeting agendas, materials, and track action items related to the Community Development department.Create and maintain document management systems for correspondence, reports and other forms of technical documentation the Community Development Department may use.Draft correspondence as required and collect information and data to compile reports and papers.Plan and arrange travel itineraries, including accommodation, and logistics, including contingences for the Director and team.Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Director.Serve as the primary point of contact between the Director of Community Development and internal/external stakeholders.Provide basic support for office equipment and software.Raise purchase orders and receipt goods or services in accordance with Councils procurement policy and procedures.Please click here to see the full position description.As the Victoria Daly region has a large Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population, you will need to ensure cultural sensitivity and awareness across all activities.
