We are seeking a chef de partie candidate who can demonstrate:
- A minimum of 1-2 years experience cooking in an a la carte restaurant environment
- Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality seasonal dishes
- Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
- Preparing fish and seafood
- Keep stations clean and compliant with food safety standards
- Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices
- An ability to move with a sense of purpose and work efficiently whilst maintaining a calm demeanour
- Accountability & self motivation
- Great personal presentation & keep their work station clean (open kitchen)
- Confident and capable at working both in a team environment and unsupervised
- Must be available Thursday - Sunday (Winter) & Wednesday - Sunday (Summer)
- That they can legally work in Australia
