This is a Senior Procurement Officer role with Queensland Government based in Brisbane, QLD, AU Queensland Government Role Seniority - senior More about the Senior Procurement Officer role at Queensland Government Join our Procurement team as an AO6 Senior Procurement Officer and play a vital role in delivering expert advice, managing supplier relationships, and driving valuefor-money outcomes through whole-of-government supply arrangements that support Queensland businesses, agencies, and communities every day. As an AO6 Senior Procurement Officer, you will engage with a wide range of stakeholders and work collaboratively, you will contribute to broad functions including - planning, market analysis, cost analysis, data analysis, risk management, demand management, supplier performance management, sub-category performance, sourcing activities, forecasting and the development of forward procurement pipelines. Key Responsibilities Include Developing contract management plans and managing supplier contractual performance, including novation's, contract variations and performance against KPI's. Contributing to key sourcing initiatives, including the development of tendering documents, pre-tendering industry engagement, evaluation, negotiation, awarding and implementation. Ensuring buyer guides and other category related content is up to date, accurate and user friendly. Managing daily communications and resolving customer and supplier issues. Facilitating and participating in cross agency working groups, accountable for the delivery of category plans. Planning and delivering key industry and customer forums and workshops. Using Excel, Power BI and other systems to collate, and analyse data, informing sound decision making. Applications to remain current for 12 months.
