About the Role
We are currently seeking a strategic and commercially astute Commercial Manager to join the senior leadership team at Western Australian Specialty Alloys (WASA), part of Precision Castparts Corporation (PCC), Special Metals Division. This full-time role is ideal for someone who is analytical, collaborative, and passionate about driving business growth and profitability.
As Commercial Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the business's financial performance and long-term growth objectives through the development and execution of pricing strategies, product portfolio management, and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will be expected to work in alignment with our core values of Courage, Ownership, Collaborate, Integrity, and Innovate.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement pricing strategies aligned with market dynamics and business goals.
* Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Operations to define and develop new products or improve existing ones.
* Conduct profitability analysis and make data-driven recommendations to optimise cost and revenue.
* Lead quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with senior commercial management.
* Maintain and manage company price books, customer-specific pricing, and long-term agreements/contracts.
* Lead monthly SLT Commercial business reviews, providing insights on market conditions, variances, lost business, and customer satisfaction.
* Support the Sales Director during leave or travel, representing the Sales and Commercial functions at SLT level.
* Maintain historic performance data for market and business analysis.
* Mentor and support staff in reporting and commercial analysis.
* Forge strong relationships with other PCC businesses to ensure consistency in pricing and sales philosophy.
* Manage and prioritise the WASA Sales team, setting clear goals and KPIs aligned with WASA and PCC objectives.
* Maintain high levels of customer responsiveness and engagement with key clients and stakeholders.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures including PCC Code of Conduct, Quality and EHS Rules
* Other duties within skills, knowledge and abilities as required by management
Education & Experience
* Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or Engineering (MBA preferred).
* Minimum 6 years' experience in a commercial or financial analyst role.
* 5+ years' experience in the engineering manufacturing sector.
Skills & Competencies

* Advanced financial and business analysis skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business reporting tools.
* Ability to present papers and represent WASA's capabilities externally.

* Domestic and international travel will be required.
