We are seeking an experienced, self‑motivated Operations Manager to join our Angas Park team at the Loxton site in South Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage both the Loxton processing facility and Angas Park tree fruit farming operations, delivering operational excellence and business growth.

What you'll be doing
* Lead and provide strategic oversight of the Loxton processing site.
* Oversee processing site and orchard operations within budget, including high‑value inputs such as water, labour, R&M, labour and harvest costs.
* Provide guidance, support, and leadership to farm staff and contractors.
* Evaluate operational equipment requirements in collaboration with the engineering division.
* Supervise contractor hours and costs, ensuring efficiency during peak harvest periods at processing site and Orchard.
* Oversee the maintenance of processing site and orchard equipment, including tractors, sprayers, quad bikes, slashers, mulchers, forklifts, pruning equipment, and irrigation systems.
* Direct harvest programs and associated contractors to maximize crop intake, processing efficiency and quality and minimize waste.
* Oversee maintenance of all processing site and orchard infrastructure, machinery, and equipment.
* Manage pruning, thinning, dead‑wood removal, feral animal control, fencing, and weed management.
What you'll bring
* Practical experience in fruit processing and/or orchard management, including operations, irrigation, pest and disease identification, pruning, thinning, and harvest coordination.
* Ability to supervise staff and contractors to achieve maximum efficiency and output.
* Knowledge of work health and safety practices relevant to processing and orchard operations.
* Current motor vehicle license.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and web‑based platforms.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Motivated self‑starter with sound decision‑making abilities.
* Physically capable of performing tasks such as bending, kneeling, lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
* Energetic, positive, and highly organized, with the ability to meet deadlines.
