About This Role

We're seeking an enthusiastic and energetic casual Kitchen Attendant who thrives in large and fast-paced environments to join our kitchen crew.

As a Kitchen Attendant, you'll work under supervision of Chief Steward, clocking up your step count and actively moving through resort. Your responsibilities include:

* Maintaining clean and hygienic work environments in kitchen, food preparation, and scullery areas.
* Cleaning dishes, utensils, and equipment safely.
* Handling chemicals effectively and operating dishwashing equipment.
* Lifting heavy items and disposing waste properly.
* Deep cleaning kitchens to high standards and performing duties effectively.

We work a 7-day rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Full availability and afternoon-late evening availability are ideal, especially when catering for large groups of guests in conferences and events.

This is a Casual Position.

To be Successful

You'll need:

* Previous kitchen attending or cleaning experience in a 4-5 star hotel/resort or similar environment.
* Experience using commercial dishwasher, general knowledge of catering equipment, cleaning, and kitchen procedures.
* The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and thrive in fast-paced environments.
* Excellent teamwork skills, friendly positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
* Strong verbal communication skills, organisational skills, and good time management.
* The ability to take direction and follow instructions or work independently and show initiative.
* Physical ability to comfortably lift up to 20kgs and perform repetitive manual tasks safely.
* Excellent personal presentation and Safe Food Handling Certificate (desirable).
* Full working rights in Australia.
