General Manager - Medical Devices (B2B/B2C)
About the role
A global healthcare business specialising in respiratory and sleep therapy is seeking a commercially driven General Manager to lead its Australian operation. The company operates a network of retail stores backed by a growing e-commerce platform, serving both consumer and professional channels. With plans to expand nationally, the business is investing in a broader footprint and stronger geographic reach across Australia. This is a strategic and hands‑on leadership role that will shape the next phase of growth. The focus is on building a scalable, high-performance organisation through sharper sales, marketing, and operational execution.
Responsibilities
* Lead sales transformation across both B2C Retail and B2B channels, driving double‑digit growth.
* Oversee multi‑site retail operations, ensuring consistency in performance and customer experience.
* Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies that strengthen brand presence and market share.
* Drive online marketing and e‑commerce campaigns to increase digital sales and engagement.
* Manage full P&L accountability, aligning resources and operations to deliver commercial outcomes.
* Coach and motivate a small, capable team, fostering accountability and collaboration.
* Identify and grow business expansion through establishing new stores to improve national coverage.
Ideal background
* Senior experience in medical devices, healthcare, or consumer health, ideally across multi-channel sales models.
* Proven success developing and executing B2C and B2B growth strategies.
* Strong understanding of retail operations, e‑commerce, and online marketing campaigns.
* Demonstrated ability to scale revenue and operations through double‑digit growth.
* Commercially astute, hands‑on, and motivated by building sustainable performance.
