Network engineers with expertise in network design, analysis, and installation are required to support LAN/WAN device installation and maintenance. Key responsibilities include resolving incident tickets, implementing standard network changes, and collaborating with senior engineers on projects.
* Support client network system upgrades and configuration management
* Analyze hardware and software requirements for combined solutions
* Maintain accurate asset records and inventory
* Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades
Key Qualifications
* Compliance with DoD IAT Level 2 security standards
* Familiarity with basic routing fundamentals
* Experience with Layer 1 and Layer 2 network protocols (CAT5, Fiber, Serial cables)
* Cisco IOS, Juniper JUNOS, Brocade OS knowledge
* Understanding of Layer 3 protocols such as OSPF, BGP, VRRP, HSRP, MPLS
