Abbey Beach Resort is seeking a dynamic Housekeeping Manager to join our vibrant team
As the Housekeeping Manager, you will engage the team to provide quality servicing of all accommodation and function rooms in an efficient and courteous manner enhancing the overall experience for guests and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure completion of workloads and schedule rooms/team members to ensure timely & cost-effective outcomes.
* Ensure rooms are effectively inspected according to Abbey Beach Resort guidelines.
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Resort and all its facilities in relation to all housekeeping requirements.
* Assist to develop and mentor the skills, abilities and behaviours required within the housekeeping department and ensure all new staff are trained correctly and appropriately.
* Respond promptly to all urgent room requirements and provide prompt, calm, and measured solutions to guest's satisfaction.
* Actively participate in the weekly meeting with the Executive Team.
* Assist the Management to develop clear expectations of performance requirements and assist in ensuring the allocation of work tasks to suitably qualified team members.
* Create weekly rosters to cover fluctuations in service demand for the teams, ensuring these rosters are published a minimum of a week in advance.
* Approach all duties with commitment and ownership.

Qualifications:
* High school certificate (essential)
* Relevant Educational Qualifications (essential)
* 2-3 years experience in a similar role (essential)
* Current Australian drivers licence (desirable)
* First Aid (desirable)
