Are you an experienced Project Manager with a knack for both business and technology projects? This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established organisation with a history of community service and outreach during a time of transformation.
Your new role
As Project Manager, you will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of a variety of projects. These will include both business-led initiatives and technology projects. You will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and managing all aspects of projects from early concept through to delivery and transition to operation. You will manage budgets, quality and risks while ensuring timely delivery and clear communications with key stakeholders and executives. This role will require someone who can confidently establish strong project governance and navigate an environment with evolving project management practices.
What you'll need to succeed
o Experience managing both business and IT projects with a focus on stakeholder engagement, scope management and successful delivery
o Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders
o Exceptional relationship and rapport-building skills and a strong commitment to delivering successful outcomes for the business
o Confident communicating across all levels of the business, from operational staff to executives, using clear and concise language
o Familiarity with key IT concepts and practices, including user stories, backlog management, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
o Ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle
o Comfortable working in environments where project management processes are evolving and can contribute to their improvement
