About the role
Western Health seeks experienced Security Industry Professional who wish to join a dynamic team at the forefront of providing a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
We are seeking Security Officers with 24/7 availability to work across our sites at Sunshine, Footscray, Williamstown, and Bacchus Marsh Hospitals.
Interacting with a culturally diverse range of customers you will be able to demonstrate the Western Health values of Compassion Accountability, Respect, Excellence & Safety. In effect you will deliver a safe and secure environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.
Key responsibilities
* Successful completion of the Security Guard Unarmed Guard Certificate II course
* Victorian Private Security Individual Licence
* Current knowledge of Victorian legislation relevant to your role as a Security Officer.
* Current knowledge of emergency equipment such as Fire Extinguishers
* A current Working with Children Check – Employee Status
* A current Workplace First Aid Certificate
