We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support complex, high-security government and defence programs in Canberra. This is a long-term contract opportunity working on critical initiatives within a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:Engage with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business and system requirementsTranslate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirementsDevelop business cases, process maps, gap analyses, and supporting documentationSupport solution design, implementation, and change activitiesWork closely with technical teams, vendors, and project managers to ensure successful deliveryContribute to governance, reporting, and assurance activities in line with Defence and government standards
Key Skills & Experience:Proven experience as a Business Analyst within government or defence environmentsStrong requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skillsExperience working on ICT, digital, data, or transformation projectsFamiliarity with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologiesAbility to operate in highly secure, complex environments
Security Clearance:TSPV required for this roleNV2 or NV1 may be considered for other upcoming opportunities
