We are partnering with one of Australia’s most respected and diversified ASX‑listed organisations to appoint a Senior Associate or Vice President within their high‑performing Corporate Development and Internal M&A team, based in Melbourne. With a private equity‑style investment mandate and a strong track record of delivering value through strategic transactions, this team plays a critical role in shaping the group’s portfolio and long‑term growth strategy.
In this role, you will lead complex workstreams across M&A transactions, strategic investments, and high‑value corporate projects. Working closely with senior executives across the group, you will apply your commercial judgment and financial acumen to assess potential acquisitions, partnerships, and capital allocation decisions. This is a unique opportunity to operate with visibility and impact at the highest levels of a major corporate group while enjoying the depth, stability, and long‑term focus that internal corporate roles afford.
The ideal candidate will bring 5 to 9 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, strategy consulting, or Big 4 M&A teams. You will be a self‑starter with a passion for solving complex business problems, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and a desire to build a long‑term career in a values‑led organisation. You’ll also bring strong technical capabilities and the ability to lead small teams or workstreams independently.
