The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Client Director to join our team.
This role will work alongside the Managing Director, in a critical leadership position.
Your initial responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Preparation and review of financial statements and taxation returns
Structuring for tax effectiveness and asset protection
Tax consulting and business advisory
Attending to complex income tax issues and prepare advice pieces where necessary
Management of internal and client communications
Developing and managing strong client relationships and own client base
Leading and mentoring a team
Assist with converting prospects/ leads into new clients
Exposure to complex and high profile clients
Utilise best practice suite of cloud based software and systems
The Ideal Candidate
Possess a minimum of 8 years Australian public practice experience in Tax and Business Services
Strongly align with our vision, mission and values
CA or CPA qualified
Exceptional communication, people skills and work ethic
Experience working as a manager or director within business services
Strong technical knowledge in tax and accounting principles
Experience with complex structures including SMSF's
Friendly, positive and personable, yet ambitious, motivated and driven
Highest standard of ethics, confidentiality and professionalism
Highly value long term, strong relationships
Ability to communicate, report to and present to clients is essential
You want to make a difference/ meaningful contribution in the lives of clients, the team in which you work, and the broader community
Ability to contribute to and develop the firm's leadership team along with mentoring the accounting team on Tax Advisory and technical matters.
Proficient in Xero, XPM and Excel
