Position Information
Richmond Agricultural Centre is located on the Western Sydney University Hawkesbury Campus. The school's gardens and horticultural areas form outdoor classrooms or living labs and are integrated into the teaching programs across the school. Horticulture and plant production form a significant component of the school's educational delivery.
About the Role
To be successful in the role you will need good planning, prioritising, and communication skills to work collaboratively with others. Within this role, you will work independently and within a team environment.
You will perform a range of tasks relating to maintaining and beautifying the grounds and gardens of the Departmental school. The role assists with crop production and disposal, machinery operation, maintenance of garden equipment, receipt and storage of supplies, and general garden maintenance. Other related duties, within the skills and competencies of the Flower Gardener, will be directed by the Principal or delegate.
Qualifications
* Licence: Light or medium rigid licence preferred; can be obtained post‐employment if not currently held. A standard C class licence is required upon employment.
* Working with Children Check required.
