The Role – Senior Specification Manager NSW
This position is responsible for managing and developing a defined territory within New South Wales. The focus is on increasing exposure, driving specification, and building long-term brand value rather than short-term transactional wins. You will be trusted to prioritise opportunities intelligently, concentrating effort where Krause's design, aesthetic, and value proposition can genuinely add impact.

You will work closely with architects, designers, builders, and developers across your territory, while collaborating internally with production, operations, logistics, and support teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality experience for clients from initial engagement through to delivery.

The role suits someone who is comfortable operating autonomously, values strong relationships, and understands that service, credibility, and follow-through are critical to sustained growth in a bespoke, design-led environment.

Key Responsibilities
You will be accountable for growing Krause's presence and specification activity within your allocated NSW territory, building awareness and preference with key A&D practices and delivery partners. This includes identifying new opportunities, qualifying and prioritising leads, deepening existing relationships, and ensuring Krause is positioned as a trusted, consultative partner rather than a volume supplier.

You will maintain and develop relationships with architects, designers, builders, developers, and distributors, confidently engaging in design-led conversations while also managing the practical and commercial realities of construction, logistics, and site delivery.

You will manage projects from early design stages through to construction, supporting specification, product selection, pricing considerations, and coordination. This requires confidence to "walk both sides of the market," manage expectations, and at times make disciplined decisions about which projects to pursue.

Internally, you will work closely with production, operations, logistics, and customer support teams to ensure clear communication, accurate information flow, and a seamless client experience. You will act as an advocate for your clients while ensuring commitments are realistic, achievable, and aligned with Krause's quality and margin expectations.

You will develop and execute sales and territory initiatives aligned with the broader national strategy. CRM and ERP systems (including NetSuite) will be used consistently to manage pipeline activity, forecasting, client data, and project progress, supporting a more proactive and structured approach to opportunity management over time.

About You
You bring proven experience in business development or sales within building materials, construction, or a design-led environment. You may not come directly from bricks, but you understand aesthetic-driven products, specification selling, and the importance of brand, margin, and delivery integrity.

You are confident working with architects and designers, while also able to engage builders, developers, and trades with credibility and clarity. You understand that winning the right projects on design, service, and solution-based selling is more important than chasing volume.

You are organised, commercially minded, and disciplined in your use of CRM and ERP systems. You take ownership of your territory, plan your activity deliberately, and are comfortable making autonomous decisions in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
