Job Description
The Credit Officer will be responsible for:
* Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
* Assess and monitor customer creditworthiness to minimise financial risk.
* Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Prepare and distribute statements and invoices to clients.
* Liaise with internal departments and customers to address credit-related queries.
* Maintain accurate records of all credit activities and transactions.
* Assist in the development and implementation of credit policies and procedures.
* Provide regular reports on credit performance and outstanding debts.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Credit Officer should have:
* A proven track record within a similar role
* Strong knowledge of financial systems and processes.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in office-based software and financial tools.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
* A detail-oriented approach and a commitment to accuracy.
