**Challenger Ford (part of Eagers Automotive) **is looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as an
**Apprentice Technician/ Mechanic.**
**Learn all the ins and outs of a car while getting paid and developing a much-valued career in the Automotive Industry!**
**Challenger Ford** operates in Rockingham and are proud to be part of the local community. Our main purpose is the sale and maintenance of Vehicles.
Reporting to the Service Manager you will be trained in performing service and repair work for customer vehicles. You will have one-on-one support and mentoring from experienced senior technicians.
- On the job learning and TAFE components
- Assisting Technicians with vehicle service and repair work
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment
- Face to face customer service with internal and external customers
**About you**:
If you have a positive, 'can do' attitude, passion for providing great service, a willingness to learn and work in a team environment - we would like to hear from you!
**You will ideally possess**:
- Completed Pre-Apprenticeship - Certificate II in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (desirable but not essential)
- Prior mechanical knowledge/ experience (desirable but not essential)
- Australian Manual Drivers Licence (probationary acceptable)
- Display an exceptional quality of workmanship, reliability and efficiency
- Excellent time management skills
- And most importantly - eagerness to learn and a personal drive to get things done!
