Operations coordinator - treatment and catchment

Use your water industry experience and qualifications and take on the role of Operations Coordinator - Treatment and Catchment. The primary focus for the role will be to coordinate the operation, maintenance and monitoring of Council's water catchment, treatment and distribution infrastructure including Clarrie Hall Dam, weirs and water treatment plants, service reservoirs and water pump stations to maintain the uninterrupted supply of safe high quality drinking water to the residents and visitors of Tweed Shire.

**We are seeking someone with**:

- certificate IV in Water Industry Operations or relevant equivalent qualification; and extensive water industry experience
- demonstrated experience in the supervision, resource allocation and people management of a team
- demonstrated competence in communicating effectively and problem solve
- extensive demonstrated knowledge of, and experience in, advanced water treatment processes and drinking water quality within associated reticulation systems
- extensive knowledge and experience in the use of SCADA systems
- demonstrated knowledge and experience in the operation and maintenance of dams
- demonstrated knowledge of legislative requirements relating to water treatment plants and dams, and NSW Department of Health and Australian Drinking Water Guidelines as well as work, health and safety and environmental requirements

- Hold the following licences and certificates:

- Current Vehicle Licence - Car
- NSW Department of Health Fluoridation Certificate.
- Confined Space Entry Certificate.
- Dams Safety Surveillance Training or equivalent experience.
- General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- Demonstrated knowledge of legislative requirements relating to water treatment plants and dams, and NSW Department of Health and Australian Drinking Water Guidelines as well as Work, Health and Saf
