Reporting to a dynamic and entrepreneurial General Manager, this newly created role offers both strategic influence and operational responsibility.You will be tasked with developing a modern marketing function—designing the systems, processes, and standards that bring the Club’s refined identity to life. This is not a role focused on mass-market campaigns or external acquisition. It’s about subtlety over scale—where prestige, polish, and personalisation matter most.Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Development & GuardianshipDefine a premium visual and tonal identity that reflects the Club’s heritage and future direction.Embed consistent brand guidelines across all member and public communications.Member Communications & EngagementOwn and elevate all internal communication channels—from newsletters and Club magazines to digital and event collateral.Partner with Membership to enhance onboarding, retention, and engagement journeys.Strategic Marketing PlanningDevelop and implement a tailored marketing strategy that aligns with Club priorities and member expectations.Bring structure, planning, and polish to a traditionally non-marketing-led environment.Produce and oversee on-brand, high-quality content across print and digital platforms.Commission and manage creative specialists as needed to uphold visual standards.Digital & Website StewardshipLead the refinement of the Club’s website and digital channels to ensure they deliver an intuitive, elegant member experience.Measurement & Strategic AlignmentIntroduce simple measurement frameworks to assess engagement and effectiveness.Regularly report insights to the General Manager and Club leadership team.What We’re Looking For8+ years in strategic marketing, communications, or brand leadership.Proven experience in prestige, lifestyle, luxury, or member-based organisations.A builder—you’ve established or transformed marketing functions from the ground up.Strong creative instincts, combined with structured, systems-based thinking.Deep understanding of content, digital, and brand touchpoints.Comfortable working closely with executive teams and across small internal teams.Who You AreElegant communicator – Polished, thoughtful, and articulate in every format.Strategic & operational – Able to zoom out for brand vision and zoom in for daily execution.Discreet & composed – Understands the nuances of prestige, privacy, and professionalism.Resilient & self-directed – Energised by building something from scratch.Emotionally intelligent – A natural collaborator with high EQ and low ego.Detail-obsessed – Understands that in high-end environments, the little things are the big things.Committed to excellence – Balances tradition with tasteful innovation.Why This Role?This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of one of Australia’s most prestigious private clubs.
