Role Overview
We are seeking an individual with a proven track record in software development and a penchant for leadership. This entails shaping and implementing cutting‐edge solutions for our customers as on‐premise solutions or in the cloud. The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of experience in full‐stack development, coupled with a strategic mindset to lead and inspire a team towards excellence.
They will enjoy working both independently or with like‐minded individuals on projects that deliver tangible business benefits. They will love to get their hands dirty solving complex problems but also adept at defining and assigning tasks for others in small teams.
Location: Australia - Remote
Annual salary: AUD $120,000
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake hands‐on development of new and existing solutions, demonstrating strong analytical skills and an affinity for staying abreast of the technology trends.
* Collaborate with local peers and/or offshore developer(s), defining work tasks, and providing comprehensive reviews and feedback.
* Lead and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
* Assess implementation options in terms of fit‐for‐use and cost‐benefit.
* Experience in solution design and the ability to guide stakeholders at various levels.
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously.
* Shape and implement innovative software solutions addressing real business challenges.
* Provide leadership and guidance to the development team.
* Working directly with clients to build and deliver bespoke solutions.
Skills and Experience
* Minimum 5 years of experience in full‐stack software development.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proven leadership skills with a track record of effectively mentoring and guiding other developers.
* Must have 1‐2 years of leadership and mentoring experience with developers.
* Problem‐solving aptitude and a commitment to fostering a successful career with a growth mindset.
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
* Must have Australian work authorisation to be eligible for this position.
Proficient in the .NET stack
* C# .NET
* MVC
* Web APIs (both building and consuming)
* SQL Server
* Entity Framework
* Cloud solutions experience (Azure / AWS)
* Minimum 1+ years hands‐on experience with cloud solutions required.
Advantageous to also have experience in any of the following
* Vue.js
* .NET Core (6+)
* OCR technologies
* Xamarin
* Collaborate with a highly skilled team of professionals.
