Vacation Rental Cleaner / Apartment Turnover Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner to join our small team at Collected/Places, a boutique short-term rental property in North Hobart comprising multiple self-contained apartments.
About the Role
This is a casual position requiring flexibility around guest check-in and check-out schedules. You will be responsible for the full turnover of apartments between guest stays — ensuring each space is presented to an exceptional standard, every time.
Key Responsibilities
∙ Thorough cleaning of all rooms including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas
∙ Laundering, pressing, and staging of linen and towels
∙ Restocking of guest amenities and consumables
∙ Reporting of any maintenance issues or damage
∙ Staging of spaces to a consistent, high-quality presentation standard
∙ Adherence to a detailed turnover checklist
What We’re Looking For
∙ Previous experience in short-term rental, hotel, or professional cleaning
∙ Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
∙ Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
∙ Comfortable with flexible and sometimes short-notice scheduling
∙ Good communication skills
∙ Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence essential
