The Role
As our new Automotive Technician, you'll be responsible for:
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues across all vehicle systems – including brakes, engines, transmissions, and electrical components
* Carrying out routine maintenance (oil changes, tyre rotations, fluid flushes)
* Repairing and replacing faulty parts to restore peak vehicle performance
* Accurately documenting work performed and maintaining job records
* Communicating clearly with clients and delivering excellent customer service
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace, following all OH&S guidelines
About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
* Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
* Great communication skills and a collaborative attitude
* A current Australian driver's licence
* A recognised Trade Qualification in Automotive Technology
* The ability to work independently while contributing to the team
Bonus Skills (not essential):
* QLD Safety Certificate accreditation
* Auto Electrical trade qualifications
* Air conditioning qualifications
